Friendly staff, beautiful court yard. Large rooms.
Tub and shower were small. Mildew was in the tiles. Loud outside the room. Very busy place. To expensive.

An appealing property, clean, convenient location close to areas of interest. Above average breakfast with cooked-to-order omelets, thanks a lot. The best thing is location - so close to the waterfall, Lubbock, restaurants and shopping. There's cool Jimmy's Egg within walking distance of the hotel, make desserts etc.

Location
There were WAY to many unsupervised kids running around in entire hotel day and night. The bar area didn't have enough chairs and there were more kids than adults. We had to wait 15 mins for the pool because again there were to many unsupervised kids! Young kids that should not have been allowed to be in there alone! And the 2 adults that were in there were drinking beer. Sunday morning the fire alarm was pulled and breakfast was a joke 2 hour wait for an omelette we couldnt get any pancakes and there was hair in my potatoes! I told a worker and they completely blew me off! I paid a lot of money for this hotel and was kept up, woke up, held up, by kids who were allowed to do whatever they wanted! I don't think ill be back

I liked the view from the second floor looking down at garden.
1. I didn't like being woken up early, it was mother's day. 2. The fire alarms went off in the mornig and couldn't sleep. 3. The staff at the desk are a bit pretentious.

great access to parks and dining in lubbock
I loved being just a few steps away from AB Davis Park where I enjoyed an early morning stroll, and the nearby Mamarita's Border Cafe offered delicious local flavors, made my trip even more nice.

The room was enjoyable with a refrigerator, a sitting area and a writing table.
The rooms with wrinkled carpets. Best possible location to Dollar Western Wear.

Convenient location
Property was a little dated - needed some upgrades. Did not like th sink in the bedroom - prefer a full bathroom.

Great breakfast!
Hospitality bar sucked only 6 very cheap bottles of liquor you could choose from and 2 different kind of beer.

Staff was really great. Breakfast was good too. The bed was comfortable.
First night the air conditioner didn't work. They came and worked on it but we had to change rooms at 4:00am because the room wouldn't cool even with 3 fans. Staff were super nice and offer to get us anything we needed to make our trip more comfortable. Even with the problem we would stay there again.

The breakfast buffet was as good as it has been for some time. The staff (Dillion, in particular) tries to be helpful and professional but for reasons listed elsewhere it is difficult for them. And it seems those walking around as managers show little concern nor help to guests or staff.
First of all, there are NO two bedroom suites at this location with two queen beds, as you advertise. Thus some confusion about check-in, since arrangements were understood to be different. One room was also not as we were informed - not queens, but only one king and couch in living area. Second, reservations were listed with different last name - we found the problem and corrected. Third, the pool was closed on a Saturday morning for cleaning - realizing that the is necessary maintenance seems there are better times for this maintenance. Fourth, when the pool did open there was no enforcement of hotel policy "under 18 must have adult supervision in the pool area." There were groups of children 7 and above without any supervision, making it impossible for our children (who happen to be 13,14,16 and 16) to be safe.

The staff was nice and accommodating. The breakfast was good. They had a snack time during their happy hour .
The room had trouble with the thermostat and stayed warm during the night. The key card sometimes had issues with the outside door.

The suite was very comfortable, although overall the property seemed a little dated. The breakfast was quite nice.
My husband found what looked like a Lucky Charm on the floor, so the carpet probably wasn't vacuumed very carefully. The bath area was not vented, which I would have expected in a property of this quality
